Allied For Startups at Santander's "Reskilling Europe: A Driver for Growth and Competitiveness"

We were pleased to participate in “Reskilling Europe: A Driver for Growth and Competitiveness”, a high-level event hosted by Santander, focusing on the future of Europe’s workforce.

Our Senior Advisor, Daniel Dalton, joined a panel alongside Antoaneta Angelova-Krasteva (European Commission) and Federica Mogherini (College of Europe), moderated by Jamil Anderlini (POLITICO Europe),  to discuss how Europe can address its growing skills gap through innovation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive talent development.

During the discussion, Daniel highlighted several key priorities to help ensure Europe’s workforce is equipped for the future:

• Strengthening collaboration between universities and startups to provide individuals with practical, job-ready skills.

• Integrating creativity and entrepreneurship into education, particularly in the context of rapid technological change and the rise of artificial intelligence.

• Enhancing the recognition of qualifications across borders and sectors to improve mobility and career development.

• Encouraging startup leaders to mentor the next generation of professionals.

• Exploring the use of tax incentives to support lifelong learning and continuous upskilling.
