Allied For Startups at the European Health Summit 2025
On 3 December, our Director-General, Serena Borbotti-Frison, took part in the European Health Summit. She spoke at the panel “A Thriving European Health Sector: Can AI Adoption Support Disease Elimination,” alongside:

The discussion explored how AI can accelerate disease elimination, and what support mechanisms and investment strategies are needed to help European health startups grow, innovate, and compete globally.
Serena emphasised the importance of predictability for startups. Europe must provide a simple, navigable regulatory environment and allow companies the space to test and learn. Creating this flexibility is key to building – and keeping – the next generation of health scale-ups right here in Europe.
