Allies For Startups at the Roundtable on AI and Productivity by Think Tank EUROPA

Earlier this week, our Director-General, Serena Borbotti-Frison, took part in a roundtable on “AI First? How to Fulfil the Productivity Promise of AI in Europe,” hosted by Think Tank EUROPA (Tænketanken EUROPA).

The discussion brought together policymakers, companies, Permanent Representations, startups, and experts to exchange views and share practical experiences on how AI is being used across Europe.

The key message from the discussion was that AI is becoming a key driver of productivity in Europe, but turning potential into impact depends on real adoption on the ground.

In her contribution, Serena also highlighted how startups play a dual role – as innovators and fast adopters, both creating disruption and quickly integrating new technologies like AI.

We continued the discussion together with Marcus Rajkowski (Legora), Maria Ramstedt (Ericsson), and Ditte Brasso Sørensen (Think Tank EUROPA), focusing on public procurement and engagement with the public sector.
