EU–INC Must Become a True 28th Regime: Joint Statement on the 28th Regime Proposal Leak
Europe has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to get startup policy right.
Following the recent leak of the EU-Inc proposal, Allied For Startups released a joined statement together with the EU-INC and the European Startup Network, highlighting what matters most: EU-Inc must be built for founders and the startup community.
We encourage the Commission to be ambitious and put forward a real EU-Inc, including:
- a common EU registry and real-time company database;
- a central court for dispute resolution;
- a true blank-sheet-of-paper solution, not another layer on top of 27 national systems.
Done right, EU-Inc would send a powerful signal to founders and investors worldwide: Europe is serious about startups and understands the power of pan-European standards.
We’re excited to continue working with the Commission to help shape an EU-Inc that matches Europe’s ambitions and the needs of its founders.
