In March 2025, Allied For Startups published the “Mastering the Startup Journey: A New Approach To Closing the Innovation Gap” report which examines the challenges and opportunities faced by startups in Europe as they progress through the various stages of growth: from their initial formation to scaling and eventual exit. It advocates for policies that recognise startups’ unique characteristics, emphasising the need for efficient insolvency processes, reduced exit costs, and strengthened capital markets to foster a thriving startup ecosystem in Europe. The report also highlights the importance of a globally interconnected economy, illustrating how international collaborations and access to diverse markets can accelerate startup growth and innovation.
