A Spanish Scaleup, Shakers, Partners with Allied For Startups to Promote European Tech Talent

[Brussels, 16 February] Allied For Startups and Shakers are happy to announce a new partnership for 2026. This collaboration brings together one of Europe’s rising digital talent platforms and a growing global community of startup advocates to strengthen Europe’s innovation ecosystem.

Together, they will reinforce its efforts to ensure Europe’s startups and scale-ups can access the talent, tools, and cross-border opportunities needed to grow, scale, and compete globally – especially in the light of initiatives such as EU-Inc and the EU Startup & Scaleup Strategy. 

Rooted in the Spanish ecosystem and driven by a mission to redefine the future of work, Shakers aims to strengthen Europe’s innovation ecosystem for founders by connecting companies with top-tier, AI-enabled tech freelancers.

Since its launch in 2021, Shakers has raised over €20 million from leading European investors including Partech (FR), Brighteye Ventures (UK), KFund, Wayra, Athos Capital, and Clave Capital (ESP), fueling its expansion and innovation efforts.

As a pioneer in AI-enabled workforce orchestration, Shakers’ 2026 roadmap includes expanding into new European markets and deepening engagement with key EU institutions, helping to advance AI adoption, digital talent mobility, and cross-border collaboration.

Shakers has also been actively involved in key EU initiatives, including becoming the first Spanish company to join the EU AI Champions Initiative alongside Travelperk and participating in the EU’s first AI Sandbox. The company has also been actively engaged with members of the Allied For Startups network, such as EsTech, Adigital, Startup Valencia, and Italian Tech Alliance.
