Governance: Allied for Startups is a Member-based and Member-led organisation. Every year our Members decide on our policy priorities and vote on our Mandate. Our Affiliate Members may support and participate in our activities but do not vote on our priorities or Mandate.

Governance: Allied for Startups is a Member-based and Member-led organisation. Every year our Members decide on our policy priorities and vote on our Mandate. Our Affiliate Members may support and participate in our activities but do not vote on our priorities or Mandate.
Members
Non-government affiliated, non-profit, startup organisations with clear mandate from startups. Startup Organisations remain the core Membership of Allied for Startups as they exclusively vote on our Mandate, policy priorities and run and vote for leadership (the Allied for Startups Board). They must follow the following guidelines:
01. Organisations with direct engagement with startups.
02. Legitimate organisations.
03. Organisations that align with our values.
04. Organisations that are in line with their national government regulations.
05. Organisations with transparent governance structures.
Members

Organisations with a proven interest in startup success that represent one or more startup sectors and other entities. These could now include but are not limited to: regional startup organisations, or sector-specific organisations, government-funded organisations and for-profit organisations. They must follow the following guidelines and will only be added to the Membership with a two-thirds majority vote from the Board:
01. Organisations with direct engagement with startups.
02. Legitimate organisations.
03. Organisations that align with our values.
04. Organisations that are in line with their national government regulations.
05. Organisations with transparent governance structures.
