On Monday 14 October, Brussels became the stage for a transformative initiative with the official launch of The EU Inc Petition at our event titled The European Inc: Challenges and Solutions for European Excellence, co-organised by Allied For Startups and Startup Hungary.
Spearheaded by Andreas Klinger, the EU Inc Petition is a call to action for policymakers, entrepreneurs, and innovators to champion Europe’s competitiveness. With founders and organisations from across the continent lending their support, the petition advocates for a harmonised 28th Regime – a unified framework that simplifies launching, scaling, and investing in businesses across Europe’s member states.
The event brought together policymakers, startup organisations, and industry stakeholders for a panel featuring Csongor Biás (Startup Hungary), András Inotai (European Commission), and Tomek Snazyk (Startup Poland), offering diverse perspectives on the pressing need for Europe to level the playing field in its fragmented startup ecosystem. Their insights underscored how a unified approach could unlock immense potential for innovation, growth, and cross-border collaboration.
With just six weeks before the new EU Commissioners set their priorities for the coming years, the timing couldn’t be more critical. Now is the moment to amplify our collective voice, calling for European policymakers to build an environment where startups can thrive seamlessly.
